PERRY MASON "Case of the Lucky Legs" Chapter 4: Duplicity

....Perry's gumshoe, Paul Drake will conveniently recap the previous chapter...
Perry half-naked in a Turkish bathhouse!
Now there's a sight I'm glad we were spared on the Raymond Burr TV series!
You may have noticed this strip is incredibly-wordy, especially compared to other Golden Age comics and newspaper strips.
That's because it was condensed from the original strip format to fit the page structure (and count) of a standard comic of the era, so a script that may have been spread out over two or three panels has been re-lettered into one panel!
Our hero goes airborne in search of the truth...

PERRY MASON "Case of the Lucky Legs" Chapter 3: Tangled Web

...(yes, it apparently was a "thing" back then!)
Perry himself can synopsize what's going on...
Trivia: As you may have guessed from the poster at the top of this post, this story had been adapted into a b-movie!
There were, in fact, six Perry Mason theatrical films in the vein of The Thin Man and The Saint series!
Between those and a long-running radio series, Perry was a multi-media juggernaut even before the Raymond Burr-starring show!
Things get more complicated...
